I am a PhD student at the University at Buffalo specializing in media psychology and cognitive science. My research explores how media influence our cognitive processes, moral judgements, and interpersonal relationships. I aim to investigate how media can foster empathy to reduce prejudice and shape moral judgments.

What I Do

Media Psychology Research

I research how media impact social cognition and attitudes. My work focuses on the psychological mechanisms of storytelling that enhance empathy, ultimately aiming to reduce prejudice and improve intergroup relations.

Quantitative Analysis

Proficient in academic study design, from stimulus development to data collection. Experienced with statistical software (SPSS, R), experiment design, and advanced meta-analysis methods.

Cognitive Science

I study the cognitive processes underlying social understanding. My work examines how we engage in perspective-taking and theory of mind when consuming media narratives.
